Merci beaucoup to all the French exchange teachers!

As a token of their appreciation the Year 9 French exchange students signed this card and gave it to Madame Goncellin, Madame Thomas and Mr. Morgan.

Day 6

This morning we went to the historic walled town of Guérande to complete a quiz about the town's history and to buy gifts and souvenirs.

We spent the afternoon in the beautiful seaside resort of La Baule. We were treated to a crêpe followed by games on the beach.

Day 5

After a fantastic weekend with our exchange families, today we went to the historical theme park Puy du Fou.

We saw a Viking show:

And a chariot race in the Roman amphitheatre:

Day 2

Today we performed our 'Happy' song for the school, and we're treated to a few musical performances!

Next we learnt how to climb on the school's own clmbing wall!

In the afternoon we went to explore Nantes in the sunshine.

Looking forward to 'la disco' tonight!

Day 1

We arrived in St Malo after an excellent crossing from Portsmouth to have breakfast in the sun. Our next stop was the incredible Mt St Michel!

We met our friends in Rezé to spend our fist night in France! 

The French exchange are on their way to Rezé!

The 30 Year 9 students departed Cowbridge at 1pm today and were very excited!
They were waved good bye by some of 9Y1 and some parents!
They will be travelling to St.Malo tonight with Brittany Ferries and their adventures en France continue tomorrow!

L'échange!

The exchange will depart tomorrow Wednesday 11th June at lunchtime!
The Year 9 students are eagerly anticipating meeting their French exchange partners again after saying sad goodbyes in Cowbridge in April.
The group will arrive in Rezé, Nantes on Thursday afternoon after having spent the day travelling and visiting Mont Saint Michel.
